*** THE ROYAL WESTERN AUSTRALIA REGIMENT 50TH ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATION ON 03 JULY 2020 ***
COMMEMORATIVE PARADE and SERVICE
The Royal Western Australia Regiment celebrates 50 years of dedicated service to the Nation and the WA Community on July 1st, 2010. In order to recognise this significant milestone appropriately, a Commemorative Parade and Service is to be conducted on Saturday 03 July 2010.
Time and Location
0845 Wadjuck Car Park Kings Park
0900 Form up at the corner of Wadjuk Way and Fraser Ave
0915 Battalions and Associations step off
1015 Parade and Service ends.
COMMEMORATIVE LUNCH and FELLOWSHIP
Following the Parade and Service a luncheon and subsequent fellowship will be held at the O'Meara's VC Club 16th Batalion RWAR at Irwin Barracks Karrakatta.
Family, friends and supporters of the Battalion are most welcome.
Cost
The cost for the Buffet Luncheon is $30.00 p/person payable to Bill Stevens NLT 25 June 2010. NUMBERS ARE LIMMITED GET IN QUICKLY !!!!!!!!!!!
COIMMEMORATIVE TIE
A special Commemorative Tie has been created for the 50th. It is scarlet in colour with green, black and blue stripes representing the RWAR Battalions, with a gold vigilant emblem with the 50th at the base.
Ties can be ordered at the orderley room at 11/28 BN Orderly Room or on the Day at the March.
