Message From The PresidentFROM THE PRESIDENT -
As an Association we have identified three areas for us to support, they are:
*The Australian Army Cadet Corps (AACC),
*The two Battalions 11/28th and 16th Bn RWAR, and
*Our own members and families.
We support the Cadets and attend their annual end of year parades and present the Trophies for Dux of the Cadet Under Officers (CUO) course and the trophy for the dux of the Senior NCO's course. We also give a stipend for the CUO and RSM to assist them in their travel duties state-wide.
To the serving members of both Battalions, we have provided a shield for competition between the two. We have also donated $1,000 to the 16th Bn to assist with the purchase of new Kilts.
Both Battalions have supported us on a number of occasions with the11/28th Bn giving us a room for meetings and the 16th Bn supplying a back up meeting room, as and when 11/28 area becomes unavailable. We also are privileged with the use of either the Sgts Mess or Officers Mess for the Annual General Meeting and various functions during the year.
To our own members we have a variety of functions during the year. They are:-
