These battle honours were approved for the regiment under Australian Army Order 85/1962 and are a composite set of the battle honours previously awarded to the former CMF Infantry Battalions that merged to form the regiment on 1 July 1960.

The battle honours in bold are those selected for emblazoning on the colours of each battalion of the regiment. The South African and Great War honours are on the Regimental Colour and the Second World War honours are on the Queen's Colour.
